Digital Empire Agency ("Digital Empire," "we," "us," or "our") operates digitalempireagency.com (the "Site") and provides embedded marketing specialist and AI-assisted marketing services (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site or our Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a form (such as a free audit request, contact form, or hire inquiry), chat with our Olympus AI concierge, or book a call through our scheduling widget, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name or website, what you're looking for help with, and any message you include. Providing a phone number is optional unless the form marks it required, and is used to reach you faster by phone or, where you've consented, by text.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we (and our analytics provider) automatically collect certain technical information: your IP address, approximate location (city/region level), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and time spent on the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
Information from third parties. If you interact with us through a linked third-party service (for example, scheduling a call through our booking widget, or leaving a Google review), that provider may share limited information with us (such as your name, email, and the content of your review or booking) consistent with their own privacy policy.
Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable local-storage technologies for two purposes:
- Essential/functional cookies — remember your cookie-consent choice, and whether you've dismissed the sticky offer bar or exit-intent prompt during your visit. These don't require consent because the Site can't function as intended without them.
- Analytics cookies — power Google Analytics 4, which helps us understand how visitors use the Site. These are loaded only after you accept our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage/cookies for this Site, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit. Most browsers also let you block cookies globally through their settings, though this may affect how the Site functions.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry, prepare and deliver your free audit, and schedule calls;
- Provide, maintain, and bill for our Services if you engage us;
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site and understand which pages and campaigns are effective;
- Send you marketing or service-related communications where permitted, and let you opt out at any time; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver our Services, under obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — our CRM and scheduling platform, used to store contact and lead records and to power our call-booking widget;
- Google Analytics — website analytics (only after cookie consent), and Google Fonts, which loads typefaces from Google's servers;
- Vercel — our website hosting provider; and
- Google (Places/Business Profile) — to display our public review rating and count on the Site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we'll require the new owner to honor commitments made in this policy.
Data retention & security
We retain personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver our Services, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) across the Site. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Regardless of where you live, you may ask us at any time to: (1) access the personal information we hold about you; (2) correct inaccurate information; (3) delete your information; or (4) opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these, email support@digitalempireagency.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you're a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction of that information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" (as that term is defined under California law) personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may submit a request using the contact details above; we may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland
If you're located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your information is generally your consent (for analytics cookies and marketing), our legitimate interest (for operating and securing the Site), or the steps necessary to respond to your inquiry or enter into a contract with you. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Some of our service providers (see "Sharing" above) may process data outside your home jurisdiction, including in the United States; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as those providers' standard contractual clauses.
Children's privacy
The Site and Services are directed at businesses and business decision-makers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal or Global Privacy Control (GPC). Because there's no common industry standard for responding to these signals, we currently don't respond to them automatically — but declining our cookie banner has the same practical effect of disabling analytics cookies on this Site.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, our scheduling widget or social profiles). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies separately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide a more prominent notice on the Site.
